Reservation Information
The following are our terms and conditions regarding reservations. Please keep in mind that they are not etched in stone and sometimes we might be able to accommodate special requests.
Room Rates
Click on the Check Availability, then the room name to view rates. Your reservation and total charges will be confirmed by email, fax or regular mail. No charges are put through at this time. Rates are daily, double occupancy and include lodging, a full service country breakfast, all day “help yourself” lunch and snack foods, access to the internet and all recreational facilities including pool, fishing, boating, kayaking, tennis, badminton, volley ball, hiking trails, bicycling, cross country skiing, tobogganing, snow shoeing and use of our full-service health and fitness club ten minutes from the Inn. All rental equipment for all the above activities is free to the overnight guests. Fishing tackle is not furnished. Depending on conditions and time of year, not all facilities and services may be available. A 10% service charge is added to your bill, which covers gratuities for all our staff.

Minimum Stays
We also accept overnight stays less than our minimum requirements on our Partial Stay Program. Please inquire.
2 night minimum: All weekends; midweek as well as weekends and during July and August, and Christmas week.
1 night stays: Available weekdays for the 10 month period September through June.
3 night minimum: President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, and New Year weekend.
Children
The adult environment of the Inn at Lake Joseph provides a welcome break for those parents who seek time away from the day-to-day responsibilities of raising small children. We try to encourage this environment by welcoming children twelve and above. However, children under 12 are welcome Sunday through Thursday, during the 10 month period between September and June, except holidays and Christmas week.
If You Intend To Bring A Pet
PLEASE NOTE: The town of Forestburgh has a leash law, but you may give your dog off-leash time around the grounds of the Inn and the Inn's surrounding forest, providing you are with your pet at all times and respect the feelings and comfort levels of others. However, because the beach area is located in a relatively confined space that is shared with homeowners, the leash law is strictly enforced even if there are no other people in sight. Please respect this law.
Fishing
PLEASE NOTE: To protect Lake Joseph from contamination brought in from other bodies of water, the LJHA does not allow outside boats or motors. However, you may use one of the Inn's approved electric motors if you bring your own battery and charger.
Cancellations
If you cancel your reservation within one week of your arrival date, you may be subject to a minimum of one night or one third of the cost of your stay, whichever is greater, unless your guest room is rented.
Check In-Check Out Times
We guarantee your guest room no later than 2pm, unless it's ready earlier. At checkout we must have access to your guest room no later than noon, but you may stay the rest of the day and enjoy the facilities.
